I have been using cameras for 15 years, photography has always been a passion of mine. I first fell in love with documentary photography in college. Not letting the camera alter the situation, a true moment of life. I studied documentary photography at Newport. My time here taught me the importance of access and gaining trust and comfort with my subject.
I love using my camera to make pictures that celebrate local culture and community. I enjoy the process of gaining access to places where people gather socially. I have lots of experience in engaging with the community. I am a volunteer photographer for the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal Trust, and I photograph for UK Underground Rap, documenting the underground scene.
I photograph weddings. I photograph live music for bands, events and festivals. I photograph corporate events for businesses. I worked for The Wave during the summer of 2023 as a surf photographer. All this experience has given me confidence in my ability to make high-quality pictures.
